Elena Steers

Ms. Steers is the founding member of the Law Offices of Steers & Associates, a full-service law firm specializing in bankruptcy and personal injury law. With many years of legal experience, Elena particularly helps clients by carefully breaking down the often complicated procedures and challenging language of the legal system into common understandable terms, so clients clearly understand the debt relief options that can be legally pursued.

Unique to Elena's legal experience is her extensive background on all sides of debt negotiations and bankruptcy filings. She previously worked as a Bankruptcy Trustee Assistant at the Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee in Los Angeles where she reviewed bankruptcy filing submissions. She also worked in the representation of creditors pursing debt collections with a respected Los Angeles law firm. Such broad experience enables the firm to expertly and successfully guide clients through the maze of financial debt relief options.

A UWLA Law School graduate, Ms. Steers is admitted to practice law in all courts of the State of California. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California, Southern District of California and the Eastern District of California. A licensed California real estate broker, she additionally has a background in property management and real estate sales.

Allen Vaysberg

Allen Vaysberg manages the personal injury practice of the Law Offices of Steers & Associates. A member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Allen helps injured clients to get the compensation that they deserve, whether through out-of-court settlement, litigation, or trial. By aggressively investigating the facts and using every available resource, the Law Offices of Steers & Associates works tirelessly to defeat the tactics of insurance companies and large corporations who try to deny justice to injured people.

Allen also oversees the firm's bankruptcy law and motion practice with an emphasis on clients' real estate issues in bankruptcy. The Law Offices of Steers & Associates has had great success in helping clients to remove their second and other junior mortgage liens and lines of credit in Chapter 13 bankruptcy. The firm also helps clients to proceed with short sales and/or loan modifications while in bankruptcy by obtaining court orders from bankruptcy judges.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) at UCLA, Allen was selected as an honored Wildman Scholar at Southwestern University School of Law, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor law degree. He is admitted to practice law in all Courts of the State of California as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.

Robert Vars

Mr. Vars brings a long history of success in legal representation in his capacity as Attorney, of Counsel, with the Law Offices of Steers & Associates. In case after case Bob has been able to cut through an often complex legal maze to identify key issues that contribute to the successful outcomes of client’s cases. A skilled trial attorney, he brings a record of large settlements for personal injury clients and of tough defense for criminal defendants.

His years of professional specialization in trial advocacy for product liability claims; personal injury claims; the defense of major crimes, and professional errors and omissions claims, has generated an expertise that has been extended to include private mediation and arbitration. In this area he effectively helps resolve disputes in real estate litigation, commercial litigation, and torts litigation: including malpractice and errors & omissions.

Bob earned his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles following his undergraduate studies and Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit; and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, and all Courts of the State of California.

He has served as President of the Lions Club International, a volunteer organization with over one million members worldwide who serve their local communities. An Adjunct Professor and lecturer at UWLA and LaVerne School of Law, he is also a highly sought after guest lecturer at professional associations
